What areas do you service?

Do you install security systems for businesses as well as homes?
Yes. We work across both residential and commercial properties, from single-camera installations at private homes through to full CCTV, alarm and access control systems for offices, warehouses, retail sites and multi-unit buildings.
Can I view my security cameras from my phone?
Yes. The systems we install can be connected to an app on your phone or tablet, so you can view live footage, review recordings and receive motion detection alerts wherever you are.
Can I open my gate from my phone?
Yes. We can set up your gate so it opens from an app on your phone, alongside a keypad or remote. That means you can let visitors, tradespeople or deliveries in without being at the property, and you don't need to hand out spare remotes.
Do you offer back-to-base alarm monitoring?
Yes. We can set up monitored alarm systems so that activations are responded to around the clock, as well as self-monitored systems that alert you directly through your phone. We'll talk you through which option suits your property.
Is the Ajax alarm system pet friendly?
Yes. Ajax alarm systems are designed to minimise false alarms caused by pets. When correctly installed and configured, the indoor motion detectors ignore animals up to 50 cm in height and around 20 kg in weight, and the sensitivity can be adjusted to suit your pet. Outdoor detectors won't respond to animals up to 80 cm tall. Correct positioning matters, so we'll take your pets into account when we plan the installation.
What warranty comes with Ajax products?
Ajax devices are covered by a manufacturer's warranty for two years from the date of purchase. Full terms are available on the Ajax Systems warranty page. If you ever have an issue with a system we've installed, contact us first and we'll help sort it out.
Are your technicians licensed?
Yes. All of our security technicians are fully licensed, and all work is carried out to Australian standards. Max Home and Business Security holds Queensland Security Licence No. 4979611.
How much does a security system cost?
It depends on the size of the property, the number of cameras or devices, and whether cabling is required. We provide a free quote before any work begins, so you'll know the full cost up front with no obligation.
